Testing the PTU today and came across some conflicting info in the 96FSM vs. 95 and earlier FSMs. [ http://i.imgur.com/Cmb3Gdy.jpg ] 96FSM (top book) Terminal G which it labels as I4 when tested in the position of: G (Terminal 3 in the 95 and earlier FSMs) (-) E1-6 (+) 96FSM says there should be continuity. My PTU did not have continuity. Testing in continuity mode or for OHMs. So that would be a Fail. The 95 and earlier FSMs (bottom book) says testing in that position it should be open/no continuity. Which there is none as mentioned above...so that would be a Pass. Same thing for the I6 through E6 continuity tests vs terminals 1 and 2 combination in 95 and earlier FSMs. Terminal combos G and I1-6 (96FSM) vs Terminals 3 and 2 (95 and earlier FSMs) is a pass on both interpretations. Since the Z runs and accelerates fine outside of idle I'm inclined to believe the interpretations following the earlier versions.
